Overview

ENCORE-6G unites TU Sofia, TU Wien, SAL, and UC3M to advance research and training in 6G, AI/ML, and signal processing. Focusing on integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), it develops perceptive networks that connect the digital, physical, and human worlds in real time. Through testbeds, Open RAN prototypes, joint publications, workshops, and training for early-career researchers, the project boosts research excellence, international collaboration, and innovation capacity. Its impact includes faster 6G and ISAC development, sustainable capacity building in Europe, stronger academia-industry ties, and long-term investment in next-generation communication systems.
