Concept & Methodology

Conceptual Pillars and Methodology
ENCORE-6G drives openness and scientific exchange to foster rigorous, ethical, and socially relevant research. Using a three-phase approach—connect, develop, and scale-up—it builds strategic networks, joint publications, workshops, schools, and grant collaborations, while promoting open science. By advancing ISAC-enabled 6G technologies such as RIS-assisted sensing and ML-driven network intelligence, the project strengthens TUS’s research capacity, enhances knowledge transfer, and delivers impactful, reproducible results with lasting societal and scientific value.
Research Synergies of Synergies
ENCORE-6G advances ISAC-enabled 6G technologies through coordinated research across TUS, TUW, SAL, and UC3M. TUS develops AI-driven Open RAN frameworks for real-time network optimization and programmable sensing, TUW enhances coverage and localization using RIS-assisted ML signal processing, SAL implements predictive, obstacle-aware communications in smart factory scenarios, and UC3M designs flexible mono-, bi-, and multistatic ISAC systems. The project integrates simulation, testbeds, and ML models to enable robust, adaptive, and safe communications, while promoting knowledge transfer, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical validation. Together, these efforts strengthen research capacity, foster high-impact publications, workshops, and training, and deliver transparent, reproducible solutions with long-term societal and technological impact.
